Mobile Program Director
Glassboro, NJ
The Program Director provides 24/7 mobile community outreach services to adults in crisis, including mental health, substance use, and suicidal emergencies. Staff dispatch to crises in teams of two, with a Crisis Response Specialist and a Peer Support Specialist, to provide assessment, risk assessment, safety planning, linkage to services, and follow-up care. The Program aims to provide crisis de-escalation without use of law enforcement unless necessary for consumer or team safety.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and interpret data regarding the progress of the program and if goals are being met.
- Provide supervision to the Program Supervisors and manage staff.
- Review and manage a budget and be able to evaluate and enhance efficiency and productivity of the program.
- Ensure that the program is adhering to all Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services and company guidelines and policies.
- Expected to participate in an on-call rotation to provide remote clinical backup and supervision to the Mobile Crisis Outreach Response Teams (MCORT).
Qualifications:
- Must possess a clinical license (LCSW, LPC) in addition to a master’s degree in a mental health related field
- Two years postmaster’s experience in a mental health setting.
- Must have at least two years supervisory experience and previous crisis experience is preferred.
Schedule:
- Full time; some evening hours required
- 24/7 coverage needed, on-call beeper provided
Salary:
- $85,000 annually
